Inferno

This was the second in a pair I made for a video game. It’s the darker side of the game. Made with 8-bit sounds similar to what was used on early video games. They didn’t have a lot of options in sounds so composers then had to be pretty creative and even though the music doesn’t sound like an orchestra, it was often very intricate. In this one there are multiple melodies at the same time, with harmony and bass, and there is even a round (a type of canon) at the end when the melody is echoed. No long sustains were possible so not used here. Minor key to make it a little more ominous.
